When all trees grow upward,
At the corner ofa lake,
A tree grows aside.
It is a figure offun.
The day when its green leaves are flourishing,
Papageno and Papagena hide behind the tree
of love.
And they make a solemn promise for the
future.
On a hot day, a fish comes and takes rest in
the shadow of a tree.
A stranger sits down on the tree and takes a
breath.
The tree that grows aside.
Suppressing its intrinsic nature.
Embraces the lake with tears and still grows.
