Within a year, he is already publishing his

first poetiy collection, "A Song of a Dandelion'

s Seed." I know that he had been writing even

before his debut, and further, it is admirable

that he has overcome many difficulties in a life

of mission and has found joy and meaning in

praising God, His beauty and His glory.

I am confident that these poems demonstrate

the height of Mark Hong s focus on godliness

as he compares the tenaciousness of life to the

life of Christian diasporas and the beauty of

dandelions to the attractiveness of Jesus life

in Christians. Such focusing power is called

"poetic thought." It is a thought pattern based

on the intuition of faith and unrestricted free

imagination. This ability is a prominent

feature in Mark Hong s poems.

Poet Hong s poems of faith were written
